Harmonic Minors (One Octave)
Here are all the harmonic minor scales, one octave, in the circle of fourths. I teach my students to use the fifth mode of harmonic minor if they want a bebop sound over a ii V in a minor key, which is usually a ii7(b5) V7(b9).
