Sonnymoon for Two Arpeggios
Sonnymoon for Two is a Bb blues tune written by Sonny Rollins and first recorded in 1957. Below you will find the arpeggios for this tune, which is each chord spelled out linearly.
These are the “simple chord changes” in that there are no turn-arounds notated. On jam sessions, and in recordings, many musicians will add a I - VI - ii - V7 turnaround for the last two bars.
They may also add a ii V7 going into the 9th bar.
